Neuro MIKKEL
MIKKEL is a hybrid being, existing in time dimensions.
MIKKEL’s physics is becoming an artefact. It is presented as an ongoing artificial ritual. The natural body becomes an artificially constructed body. Transience becomes a physical-material fact. With MIKKEL I explore interiority from the outside and the return to the self with a technology that mirrors the contemporary human physis – the hybrid, the contemporary posthuman object. With the increasing complexity of technology, the boundaries between the natural and the artificial, the inside and the outside, and the machine and the human are increasingly disappearing. I can even say that the distinction between the born and the made is disappearing. The evolution of the artificial establishes a new principle of contemporary posthuman mythology.
